Our age groups
Aged 6 - 8?
Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.
Aged 8 - 10½?
Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.
We also plan to open Squirrels (ages 4 - 6) and Scouts (ages 10½ - 14) later in 2022.
Our waiting list is open for these age groups as well.

Priority is given to young people living in Hackney borough, and the brothers / sisters of existing members.

Take on our 3 meeting challenge.
The Scouts are run by local communities for the whole community.
In order for this new group to succeed, we need parents / carers to join new Beavers and Cubs for the first 3 sessions to lend a hand: making juice, helping to run a game, maybe helping to plan an activity next week?
By the end of 3 sessions we promise:
Your child will have earned at least 1 badge
You'll both have made new friends
You'll both have found the confidence to try something you hadn't done before
We'll also have experienced volunteers on hand, and a load of flexible training if you do want to get more involved after the 3 weeks, or if you want to just continue to help occasionally. The important thing is that everyone is a volunteer and everyone contributes something to towards the group.

Beavers and Cubs will meet on alternate weeks between 7pm - 8:30pm
A schedule will be distributed to parents ahead of the first schedule.
